Canto do Passaros

Canto dos Passaros is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery around you. From the terrace you have a view of the many brightly colored tropical birds that visit the property. In the immediate vicinity you can take a walk in the nature or go by bike to the beach.

Boat trip river / sea

You can make a boat tour on the river or sea. It is also possible to fish at sea or make a private trip on the river. You will feel like in the Amazon, the Rio Itanhaém delta is considered the - Amazon Paulista - it has a large mangrove forest and many bird species.

Beach Gaivota

Gaivota beach is more or less 15 minutes cycling from your holiday house. This pleasant beach has many kiosks. You will experience the Brazilian hospitality and the samba music. You can rent bikes.

Rio Itanhaém

The Rio Itanhaém divides into two rivers, the Rio Negro and Rio Branco. Both rivers are surrounded by tropical vegetation and a tour on the river is highly recommended.

 

Cities around

There are several cities in the area easily accessible by bus. Itanhaém center has several nice restaurants. São Vicente has a beautiful boulevard and you can use a cable car which goes to a high plateau where you have a splendid view over the coastline.

Culinary

There are several good restaurants including fish restaurants in Itanhaém. The daily freshly caught fish is on the menu card. You can also buy fresh fish in Praia Gaivota and prepare it on the barbecue. The river fish tastes excellent and you will be surprised by the good taste of the Robalo, a specialty.

Natural park Jureia

Natural Jureia is a protected area, 30 km from the house and has many species like the jaguar and monkeys.
